I'm wondering that you're talking about previous versions of the docs...
In our Sharepoint I can open the PDF embedded in a wiki post or from a document library without any probs. But only by opening THE SAME PDF from the sharepoint search I have this error message.
Is this still the same bug? I don't think so ...
