You are talking about "upgrade". What version of Acrobat does the client use?

XI Pro Adobe software, but we cant buy a license for it anymore
Thumbnail image in finder file selection view is not displaying properly.
Since the latest update of Acrobat the thumbnail view of the selected file does not view properly. The image is always way off the window and you are not able to see the whole image. Anyone else having this issue?
Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media
I am in need of Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media, can the download link be provided?
Re: Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media
Re: Adobe Lisencing
Adobe do not sell it (though I think it is different for existing volume licensees). You might find copies in the channels, but counterfeits are a big problem.
Re: Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media
that only provides me with adobe 8 professional not standard
Re: Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media
I am unable to find installers that old. Doesn't mean they don't exist though. This page only goes back to 10.0:
Re: Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media
Is this something that can be requested to Adobe Support?
Re: Pointer slow when deployed via Citrix XenApp
Hi Emmett,
We are experiencing the exact issue. Were you able to resolve this? If you have a Citrix Tech Support Reference that would be great?
Thanks
Dave
Re: Adobe Lisencing
Thank you for the help
Re: Acrobat 8 Standard Installation Media
Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9 are no longer supported. I think if you have lost your media you may be out of luck.

Any reasons why this keep occurring."ExceptionDeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=pre --installLanguage=en_US" works on most of my deployment.
Acrobat DC Enterprise Licensing on provisioned Citrix Terminal Server does not work
Hello,
we are trying to install Adobe Acrobat DC on a provisioned Citrix XenDesktop 7.6 Farm.
Installation has been customized using the customization wizard. As described here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/citrix.html
The Installation is working on the Server where the installation originally has been made. User don't get any Online Dialoges Product is activated correctly.
Since this farm is provisioned as described here:
New Server with different Hostnames start from the same Disk.
If users log on to this new Server and start Adobe Acrobat they are presented with a Dialog to Log In as if the application has not been customized or activated.
How can this Problem be resolved? Has someone encountered the same problem or even found a working solution?
Many Thanks for your support in advance
S.Moser
Re: Acrobat DC Enterprise Licensing on provisioned Citrix Terminal Server does not work
Hi,
As you are using imaging tools so you would require to use Adobe PRTK (provisioning ToolKit) to license the tool along with --stream option. (Using Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition)
First thing is, make sure you have a Volume License Key for Adobe Acrobat DC. Then download a tool from Adobe called: Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition
1. Open a CMD prompt and navigate to the program folder
2. adobe_prtk.exe --tool=VolumeSerialize --generate --serial="<ENTER SERIAL #HERE>" --leid="<ENTER LEID #HERE>" --regsuppress=ss --eulasuppress (This will generate a Permanent offline grace - prov.xml file)
3. This prov.xml file should then be loaded along with --stream option to work on an image.
adobe_prtk.exe --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=<ENTER PATH OF PROV.XML FILE> --stream
When you use this image, it should not ask the sign in dialog again on the new server.
Thanks,
I installed all Adobe CC (& CS6) products with Enterprise packager but Acrobat & Scout missing.
I installed all Adobe CC (& CS6) products with Enterprise packager but Acrobat & Scout missing.
I found this article to install Acrobat before package.
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager/deploying-acrobat.html
Now I have to uninstall all products.
Windows (all products)
1. Back up all files stored in Adobe product directories. See Back up files in Adobe product directories.
2. Uninstall Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. See Uninstall Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
3. Run the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool (attached in this step):
AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.zip
Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for Windows (Enterprise users)
a. Download the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for Windows.
b. Extract the files in AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.zip.
c. Choose Start > Run and type cmd.
d. In the Command Prompt window, change directories to the Adobe_Creative_Cloud_Cleaner_Tool directory you created in step b.
e. Type AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe ‐‐removeAll= CREATIVECLOUDCS6PRODUCTS
f. To remove Flash Player, type AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe --removeAll= CREATIVECLOUDCS6PRODUCTS --removeFP=1.
4. Make sure that the tool completed successfully. See Verify that the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool completed successfully.
Create separate package for Acrobat DC install using this at a command prompt.
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/packager/deploying-acrobat.html
From this it looks like syntax to install is:
<Package Location>\Exceptions\APRO15.0en_US\Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe
Not sure why Scout didn’t install & can’t anything regarding that. But will try to create separate package for that too. Then install before other Adobe products.
I will edit the original package I created removing Acrobat & Scout out. Then I will run package again.

Doc: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/licensing.html#imaged-os-depl oyments
btw, 7.6 is not supported. However, that doesn't mean it won't work, but keep in mind the config is untested.

Application startup loop Acrobat Pro 11.0.11
Hi.
I am building a package to deploy Acrobat 11.0.0 with an .msi and .mst file.
After that I install 11.0.11 .msp file.
All seems to go fine, but when I try to start up Acrobat, it starts up acrobat.exe and Pdapp.exe then immediately crashes them, starts them up again, crashes again etc.
Anyone have an idea what is going on?

This is being done on a Macbook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2014), 2.8 GHz i7 with 16GB RAM. I'm running 10.10.3 on the machine.
Thanks for any help!!
Re: Application startup loop Acrobat Pro 11.0.11
Try to narrow down the issue.
- Install the vanilla 11.0 and see if there's a problem.
- If not, on a clean machine install 11.0 plus the update and see if there's a problem.
Now you know whether the mst, chaining method, or cmd line you used with the mst is the issue.
pdapp is associated with licensing.
