Hi Rave,

 

i am creating package for adobe acrobat reader DC 15.009.20069, i need to suppress some prompts by adding HKCU entries.

 

i have added those registries in the MST, after installation i did not see any registry got installed. and the prompts are coming without suppressing.

 

please help me

Hi,


ADelRCP.exe  is the PDF preview handler of acrobat reader. It should normally not popup again once you have allowed it to be set as default PDF previewer on a computer!!!

Hi Himanshu,

 

Yes you can use Actions in Pro to Automate this conversion process.

Open Acrobat

Go to Action Wizard

Click on New Action

As the Input location specify a folder from where the action will all the PDF files to be processed

Under Choose tools to Add list, go to Save & Export > Save

Click on the Arrow in the middle to move the tool to Action steps

Click on Specify Settings

Under Output Format Export To drop down select Excel Workbook

Click OK

Also specify where to Save the resultant documents by clicking on Icon next Save

Click Save button to create Action and name it

Now run the Action

I have an account with adobe. I was using the send for signature but it stopped working. I talked to someone at Adobe and they said to setup adobe acrobat dc but this is only a thirty day trial....

I have an account with adobe. I was using the send for signature but it stopped working. I talked to someone at Adobe and they said to setup adobe acrobat dc but this is only a thirty day trial.

Can someone please look up my account and see what I have already paid for and reinstall whatever I paid for. I need the send for signature portion of acrobat or something similar.

Has anyone tested this on a My Sites site collection? This solution is working great on our Portal sites, but it doesn’t seem to work in user’s OneDrive folders on My Sites. Adobe tries to open the PDF, but gives the error “There was an error opening this document. File open failed.” In addition it seems to cause Folder names to disappear randomly within OneDrive document libraries. Deleting a word was no problem. Come time to implant the empty space with text (with text tool) no joy. Just transparent (invisible) letters. Any suggestions what is causing this? Much appreciated.

Which Windows Registry entries are you attempting to implement?  What is the purpose of each?

I am using Adobe DC on Android but cannot DUPLICATE files stored in the "Document Cloud".  I can duplicate local files but I want to copy files in the document cloud as I have a template there and want to duplicate it for day to day use.  Can anyone help please?  thank you

User cannot sign in on new laptop - working remotely

I am both the Enterprise administrator and the designated user for Adobe Document Cloud eSign account - 1 year subscription started 1/Dec/2015.

 

I am working remotely on my laptop while on vacation in Italy - normally use my desktop working from home in London.

 

It seems I cannot install the Adobe app that I have downloaded using the Adobe Acrobat installer: acrobatproDC_EpotZJynSsSpcHQMP9UOVw0409.

Although I can login both as an Administrator and as a user (different Adobe IDs for two different email addresses) I am unable to see our dashboard, use Adobe Acrobate to add text to PDFs and I cannot send contracts for signing - I need urgent help please.

I have a volume license for Acrobat 10 Pro and Acrobat 10 STD and I want to know how many users can use each.  Can someone assist with this?  I tried to gather this information from Adobe Chat support but they redirected me to this forum.  I can provide the serial numbers.  Thank you.

Hi,

 

How do i deploy Adobe Reader DC without it taking PDF reader ownership from another non Adobe PDF reader?

 

My transform file is setup as follows:

Default viewer for PDF files - Installer will decide...

Direct Editor > Properties:

DEFAULT_VERB=Open (changed this from Read)

LEAVE_PDFOWNERSHIP=YES (i added this. I also tried this in the install command line)

OWNERSHIP_STATE=0 (this is for Win8 only. I'm installing on Win7 but thought it couldn't hurt to try it)

 

I've tried with different variations of the above.

The other PDF reader is Nuance Power PDF Advanced. This is the one i want to remain as the PDF viewer owner.

Greetings,

 

I have a similar (I think) problem as the one you addressed here. I have tried to install Acrobat Pro 8 on my new (refurbished) MacBook Pro (which is running 10.7.4) without luck, downloading it from the original disc.

 

I have also tried to transfer Acrobat Pro 8.3.1 (which works fine on my about-to-die MacBook) onto said MacBook Pro, with same error message as I get for the first one:
"Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional cannot be launched at this time. You must launch at least one other suite component (such as Adobe Photoshop) before launching Acrobat 8 Professional."


I opened a chat in Customer Care and gave the lady the serial number for the 8 (she only asked for that one, I have both), and she said it was a technical problem and to go ask about it here.


DESPERATE for any help as nearly all my freelance work (I'm a longtime independent contractor) has to be done editing on PDFs.

Let's set expectations accordingly.  Neither the application nor the OS is supported by either application vendor or OS vendor.  That being said... What do you mean "exactly" by the term "transfer" in your statement?  If you are talking about simply copying it from one machine to the other machine, then that process won't work.  You need to install the product on the new system.  Also Acrobat version 8.x was initially released in 2006 which was 10 years ago.  The version of Mac OS X for release was 10.4.x Tiger and the version that you are attempting to install on is Mac OS X 10.7.x Lion which was release in 2011.  The Mac OS X operating system changed drastically between those two versions.  Also Acrobat 8.x would no longer have been tested nor supported at that point.

I seem, at the very very least, to have found a fix for this week's work. A step-by-step guide to help people getting just the error message I posted, here at:

The second solution worked for me, as I was finally able (using the 8, installed by disc) to get a screen up to ask for my serial number. I put that in & voila!

 

Your thoughts make me nervous about this fix lasting but I'll take what I can for now.
