Thanks thats exactly what I did when my brain started working.Made the changes and exported the registry settings before and after and then compared the two documents with powershell! Worked like a charm!

Acrobat selects external mail clients but doesn't have a mail client in it.In Adobe Acrobat XI, it "should" be in Edit>Preferences>Email Accounts.You can select clients or add accounts in the UI.

Not.   As of version the 11.0.07 Update both Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader no longer support Windows XP.   Even Microsoft no longer supports Windows XP.
