I can update with that installer, and checking for updates post install works. Is 15.020.20042 now part of the CCP?

Acrobat Pro 11 - Registration issues again?

Hello.

 

A few months ago, Adobe had some internal issue regarding Acrobat Pro 11 licensing/registration which caused long established Acrobat Pro 11 installations to act as though they've never been registered.  

 

 

I've had at least 1 user crop up today displaying that very same issue again.   We're running 11.0.18 with absolutely nothing being changed for months.

 

Anyone else seeing this again all of a sudden?

Hi Barth w,

 

 

There is no such issue known to us currently.

Is this happening with only one user? Is that user connected to the internet or not?

 

Is it possible for you to share amt3.log file from that user's machine and serial number used?

Location of the log: C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Local\Temp

 

You may share the log and Serial number using GoogleDrive or AdobeSend or DropBox via private message:How Do I Send Private Message

 

 

Note: Don't Share serial number on this thread.

Have you tried to contact Support yet?

Looking at the Error it seems licensing is not getting through. But looking at logs seems everything went normal.

Are you still facing this issue?

Hi Tariq,

 

The issue is not resolved yet, but we have an appv specialist looking into it.

 

Just out of curiosity. Is appv offically supported by Adobe?

This doesn't answer my question.  I am trying to suppress the "Help Menu" items in Acrobat and I am using the Registry Editor in the Customization Wizard.  What I am asking for is what the command/key is that I need to enter into the registry to suppress these things?

Why is there no 64bits Internet Explorer 11 plugin in acobat dc standard or pro versions?

Installing Acrobat DC standard or pro doesn't install the 64bit internet explorer plugin (acropdf64.dll). But when i install acrobat reader dc it does. The 64bits plugin is needed when enhanced protect mode of internet explorer is enabled.. When enhanced protect mode is enabled ie11 will run only in 64bits.

UPDATE

 

I asked the user to logoff and logon back again to see if the issue persisted.

This fixed it despite the fact she logged on to the exact same server.

 

Currently I am comparing the mentioned logfiles of this user captured during her sessions while having the AdobeID issue and not.

When I parse the oobelib files via diffchecker.com I see quite some differences regarding license validation.

 

Please let me know if you are interested to review them.

We run Adobe Acrobat XI in a Windows Server 2012 Remote desktop server.

We restrict usage of the application via permissions on the AcrobatXI folder.


We also have Acrobat DC installed for all other users to be able to open PDF Files.


Users often receive the error below:

Is there a fix for this error message, or some troubleshooting steps?
