When I select that link it sends me to the same page as the screen shot above.
United States, Texas and I believe it started happening around the 24th of May if I recall correctly.
I am going to try and test this from my own home on my work machine via VPN and on my personal machine to see if there is something internally causing this issue if no one else has reported this.
Acrobat Std DC team subscription
We are currently unable to renew individual users team subscription for Adobe Acrobat Std DC with our current renewed Team Subscription valid thruu Dec 2017.
Scenario:
User gets message "Subscription Expires", when activating our Acrobat Std DC according to the documented procedure, it looks as it works but then the applications reverts back to Acrobat Pro DC and says subscription expired?
All user information looks ok on the admin console Team page and the users indivual Adobe Account page!
We are also unable to remove users from the Team and reassign licenses?
Any hints would be appreciatied!

hi everyone,
our users have Adobe Acrobat XI v11.0.17 installed and i would like to upgrade to Adobe Acrobat XI v11.0.20. i have looked over the documentation and i just can't get it to work. we have over 100 users so we're using a software delivery system...Altiris. the original install was done via the Adobe Customization Wizard XI using a transform file.
i have tried upgrading using a transform, admin install as well as using the 'PATCH' switch. What is the best and least invasive way to upgrade to the latest version? HELP!!! TIA...

As a software and packaging engineer working with SCCM and distribution, follow-up of application installs etc, I agree 100% with ajones722015. I suspect I know who ajones is even!
We struggled with the new regime of Adobe's because whenever someone orders an uninstallation of either application with a subsequent order to install the other version (Pro/Std) of the same application, uninstall will apply to the new version as well because the detection method is the same.

I apologize for taking so long to get back to you on this.
I tried from my home machine and I was able to connect without the error page. I will talk with my network team and see if there have been any changes in our firewall rules or network.

First thing to know is that updating a current installation with a transform file (MST) isn't a supported workflow for Acrobat/Reader.
Second, there are a few ways to approach updating an AIP:
1. Use a script to launch the MSP file with a command line similar to the example below.
Example:
msiexec.exe /p C:\<PATH_TO_THE_PATCH_FILE >\AcrobatUpd11020.msp /qn /L*v "C:\<PATH_TO_THE_LOG_LOCATION>\install.log"
Note, this should work as long as this isn't a Security Update.
2. If you are using an AIP build workflow then it's a bit more involved because of the steps involved.
a. Remove the old AIP build using a removal script containing a command line similar to the line below.
Example:
msiexec.exe /X <ACROBAT_VERSION_GUID>
b. Install the newly created AIP build using a command line similar to the one below.
Example:
msiexec.exe /i C:\<PATH_TO_THE_PATCH_FILE >\AcroPro.msi TRANSFORM="C:\<PATH_TO_THE_TRANSFORM_FILE >\AcroPro.mst" /qn /L*v "C:\<PATH_TO_THE_LOG_LOCATION>\install.log"
In either case it would be prudent to use the logging command line switches in case of errors in the process as I have demonstrated in the command lines above.
Unfortunately, I have no experience with Altiris, so no recommendations with that item.

Assuming that Acrobat installation is not affected when you reimage with a golden image or upgrade the settings on the desktop, the licensing workflow will still be affected in such a scenario. You can simply use the prtk tool to deactivate or re-license Acrobat.
