We have a Volume license key here at our company. We have been successful installing Adobe Acrobat DC on most of our desktops. However, we have one user that we recently installed the software and when they launch the app they get a pop-up asking them to log in with their ADOBE ID. How do we fix this pop-up from occurring?
Adobe Acrobat DC requires Adobe ID
What's the best way to update Adobe Reader DC via SCCM in an Enterprise Environment?
We are currently on a 2015 version. We would like to update to the latest version.
Can someone please advise the best way to do this via SCCM?
Thank you

I would like to bring the question up again, since I also could not find an answer to it anywhere.

Adobe Acrobat Pro made with Creative Cloud Packager results in login screen each time
Hello,
I've created a package with the Creative Cloud Packager version 1.14.0.97 of Adobe Acrobat 2017, so far everything is going well.
After deploying the package the application is installed but when the user opens Acrobat he/she gets a login screen. After clicking it away Acrobat closes itself. Later I tried the solution what was indicated below:
Disable Adobe Sign In Prompt – Acrobat Pro DC | adminfix
This gets me a step further, now I also get a login screen what I could close without closing the application too. According to the link I pasted above the login prompt should be gone completely but it isn't. I get the option to activate with the account that is I used to log in to the Creative Cloud Packager but this isn't an option for a deployment to end-users.
Does someone has experience with this problem and knows how to solve it?
Check for Updates not available
After installing Acrobat 2017 pro the help>Check for Updates drop down menu is not available.
We are using a classic style licensing model for 125 users. All end points are Windows 7 SP1.
After uninstalling Acrobat XI pro and installing Acrobat 2017 pro the Check for Updates option is not available on a few machines.
Most work fine and update as expected when the Check for Updates option is used. We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no change.
Only a few do not even show the Check for Updates in the menu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JP

How do I sign out of an offline exempted install?
Hi All,
Sorry if I didn't phrase the question correctly. Sometimes we have to reimage a machine, or swap computers for people within the year. Normally if someone has Adobe DC, we sign out and sign back into the application on the new computer. However, we don't want to have to sign in anymore because it leads to our administrator's Cloud storage.
I have successfully created a offline activation exemption package per the FAQ link https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1841589, but now face the problem of potentially going over license count if I cannot sign out /deactivate the license in the previous computer. Does anyone know how to go about deactivating this type of package?
BTW its a serial key we use but it still requires us to sign in before it allows us to use the product, which is why I followed the steps in the link.

Manuelles Update von "Adobe Acrobat pro 2017"
Guten Tag
vielen Dank
BeMe
Re: Manuelles Update von "Adobe Acrobat pro 2017"
do you have a subscription or classic license?
do you have an individual or team or enterprise license?
Re: acrobat pro 2017 does not include a check for updates menu item
Thanks for the help on this one.
We found that the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\2017\FeatureLockDown\bUpdater DWORD32 value was set to "0"
After setting that to "1" the update function returned and the update has been completed.

Does this doc help? SCCM-SCUP — Enterprise Administration Guide
Packaging Acrobat Pro DC 2018
There doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there on DC 2018 yet. I tried to use the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC to edit the .msi package and make this usable for enterprise deployment. However, when trying to "Grant Offline Exception," I get the "Offline exception grant process failed" error. I know the Creative Cloud Packager is available, but from what I understand, it still requires a sign in to authorize the install? That would be difficult with 100s of installs. Am I missing something? Other options?
Re: Why is Adobe Acrobat DC Installer not detecting VC++ 2013 x64?
There are three versions of the 2013 redist.
12.0.21005
12.0.30501
12.0.40660
21005 and 30501 can co-exist.
30501 and 40660 can both be listed in add remove programs but when you look at the data only 40660 is really installed.
The adobe installer is specifically looking for the older version of the same redist which can not be on the machine if you are fully patched.

Re: Packaging Acrobat Pro DC 2017
What was the "exact" error message?
Generally, you can troubleshoot the error by going to the %temp% and opening the file "oobelib.log" in Notepad to see what the real error was. When you do this what is the output in the "oobelib.log" file?

Were updates disabled by the Admin who created the install package for your organization?
