I get that. I know it’s a Subscription, and the SWID Tag info page helped explain the different tags and the associated version of the software.
I want to know the email address it’s associated with. On my computer, I can go into Acrobat and look under the Help Menu very easily – it currently reads “Sign Out (t**@**.com). For computers that I support that are remote to me, I don’t want to have to remotely connect to each computer, open the Application, and check the Help Menu if I can identify the ‘who’ via a file or registry key.
I’ve got some people that are of the mindset that this software can be installed an unlimited number of times. While this is true – that it can be installed again and again – the issue is that the 3rd install deactivates the 1st, the 4th deactivates the 2nd, 5th deactivates the 3rd, etc. etc. etc. Or in the case where my documentation doesn’t tell me that joe@domain.com’s<mailto:joe@domain.com's> license is on JOE-PC and JOE-LAPTOP, I want to be able to figure that out without getting in the user’s way if I don’t have to.
